CinemaCon 2012: Fox Will Stop U.S. 35mm Film Distribution Within Two Years
Twentieth Century Fox has become the first major Hollywood studio to officially notify theater owners that it will distribute all of its films domestically in a digital format within the next year or two, bringing an end to 35mm film prints.

Danish films take 1.7 million admissions in four months in best result since 2005
This Life (aka The Hvidsten Group) and Nikolaj Arcel’s A Royal Affair brought spring to Denmark with Danish films’ best results in the past seven years.
During the first four months of 2012, local fare sold 1,737,000 tickets, to control more than a third of the market, only matched by 2005 when the Danish Film Institute started publishing annual statistics.
